To address racial achievement disparities in our schools, educators, parents/families, students, community members and policy makers must first learn to engage in COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS about race. In addition, culturally relevant CLASSROOM STRATEGIES are needed to eliminate the racial achievement gap! We invite the WILLING to join together in examining, embracing and celebrating equity/anti-racist educational policy, programs and practices that empower students, families and educators to create schools that offer every student a world-class education appropriate for our rapidly changing, increasingly diverse society.
